#Occupyimf March on the IMF delegation!
The IMF-EU-ECB ‘Troika’ are back in Ireland on October 15th. Their austerity policies are causing immense suffering and are making the economic crisis worse, meanwhile bondholders and the superwealthy are getting off scot-free. This time they are demanding we sell €5 Billion worth of state assets. We are selling the family silver to pay for Zombie banks.

Labour Party minister Brendan Howlin has declared that he wants all departments to come to him with suggestions for up to 20% cuts across the board. This is over 10 Billion euro worth of austerity on top of the 3.6 Billion in cuts already set aside for us in the December budget.
In the past year we have suffered the closure of so many hospitals, the sacking of special needs teachers, welfare cuts, wage cuts.
The promises from this government and the last that we would soon see an export led recovery are nothing but fanciful dreams.
