The political establishment in this country is an accessory to the crimes of the banking elite by making ordinary people not the bondholders suffer the losses. Fianna Fail are up to their necks in the banking crisis.

Fianna Fail TD Frank Fahey has confirmed his nomination for the General Election. He has publicised that he is holding a public meeting at The Clayton Hotel, Briarhill area of Galway City at 8pm on Monday 17th January to address the citizens on the economic crisis and explain the government's handling of the situation. However, he makes no mention of an apology as a member of the government that has bankrupt the country.

When public outrage grew about the €1.5 million pension top-up for Bank of Ireland chief, Ritchie Boucher, Brian Cowen told the Dail that there was ‘nothing he could do’. A few days later, it was revealed that his finance Minister Brian Lenehan had sanctioned the pay out!
